I know some important dates in American history: 1492 was when Columbus reached America. 1607 was when Jamestown was founded. 1976 was the year of the Declaration of Independence. 1861-1865 was the Civil War. 1917 was when America entered World War I. 1941 was the year of the Pearl Harbor attack. 1989 was the year of the fall of the Berlin Wall. 1903 was the year the Wright Brothers made the first plane flight. 2001 was the year of the 9/11 terrorist attack on the WTC.
